White Coat Captioning offers Communication Access Realtime Translation (CART) services for classrooms, meetings, seminars, and more. We specialize in captioning services for the medical and tech communities.

What We Do:

White Coat Captioning provides realtime, live, steno-based translation (also referred to as CART) for the deaf and hard of hearing. We caption lectures, meetings, forums, debates, college classes, seminars, performances and other events such as college orientation, commencement and convocation.

We offer both remote and on-site captioning services. Find out More

See the difference! This video compares a lecture written by a stenographer experienced with medical terms (top) vs. one without such experience.

How It Works:

A highly trained stenographer will either be on-site at an event or remotely listening in. The stenographer, using a special language, translates the words into captions. The captions are then streamed to a secure online portal which customers can read using a desktop computer, laptop, mobile device or Google Glass. For bigger meetings, the captions can be projected onto a large screen or Jumbotron. We have partnerships with experienced videographers, broadcast engineers, and American Sign Language interpreters so that your event can go off without a hitch! More
